By using GradeMyWeb you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What GradeMyWeb is

A free automated audit tool that runs publicly available checks on any domain you enter and produces a report. Findings are heuristic and based on what we can observe from the public internet. We do not log into your site or access anything that is not public.

GradeMyWeb is operated from Israel.

What you can do

• Scan any domain you own.
• Scan any domain you have permission to scan.
• Scan publicly available domains for personal research, journalism, sales preparation, or job interview preparation.
• Share your scan results.
• Reference our findings in your own work.

What you cannot do

• Use the scanner to harass, defame, or harm any domain owner.
• Run automated scans at high volume to overload our infrastructure (rate limit: maximum 10 scans per minute per IP address).
• Scrape, copy, reverse-engineer, or republish the scanner itself or its detection logic.
• Resell our reports as your own work product.
• Use the service to build a directly competing product.
• Use the service if doing so would be unlawful in your jurisdiction.

What our findings actually mean

GradeMyWeb's findings are AUTOMATED AND HEURISTIC. They are a starting point for further investigation, not a final verdict. Specifically:

• Some findings may be false positives (we flag something that is not actually broken).
• Some findings may be false negatives (we miss something that is broken).
• Findings about legal compliance (GDPR, CCPA, accessibility, ePrivacy, and similar) are technical observations only. They are NOT legal advice. Consult a qualified lawyer in the relevant jurisdiction before acting on any finding in a regulated context.
• Findings about email deliverability, security, or performance are best-effort technical readings, NOT guarantees.

WE MAKE NO WARRANTY THAT THE REPORT IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, CURRENT, OR FIT FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

• THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
• ANY FINDING IS ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.
• THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS.
• ANY DEFECT WILL BE CORRECTED.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

IN NO EVENT WILL GRADEMYWEB, ITS OPERATORS, OR ITS CONTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOST DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED ISRAELI SHEKELS, OR THE EQUIVALENT IN YOUR LOCAL CURRENCY, WHICHEVER IS LOWER. THIS LIMIT REFLECTS THAT THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE.

IF YOU ARE DISSATISFIED WITH ANY ASPECT OF THE SERVICE, YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY IS TO STOP USING IT.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits liability for things that cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation).

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless GradeMyWeb and its operators from any claim, damage, loss, liability, cost, or expense (including reasonable lawyers' fees) arising out of:

• Your use of the service in violation of these terms.
• Your scanning of any domain you do not own and do not have permission to scan.
• Any content you publish or share that incorporates our findings.

No professional relationship

Use of the service does not create any lawyer-client, accountant-client, consultant-client, fiduciary, or other professional relationship between you and GradeMyWeb. The service is a software tool. It is not a person. It cannot give advice. Findings are software output, not professional opinion.

Changes

We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date will reflect any change. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the service will be brought exclusively in the courts of Tel Aviv, Israel.

If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA, or UK, this clause does not deprive you of any mandatory protection of consumer law in your country of residence.
